I will be speaking at this year’s f295 Symposium which takes place in Pittsburgh later this week. The lineup of speakers, from the opening – Sally Mann in Conversation with Dan Estabrook – to artists like Brian Taylor, Gabriel Biderman and Henrieke Strecker should prove to enlightening and inspirational.
As in the past, the symposium is followed by two days of workshops and/or photo excursions. Jam packed with something for any historical or lensless interest.
I will be presenting a short talk about the recent work I have been doing in gum over cyanotype. The Fragments of Mission series is a mix of pinhole and plastic camera images that I have taken into a final alt-process portfolio. Once the weekend is over, I will share my talk and thoughts about the symposium.
