Brooklyn, New York
Deadline to participate: May 1st, 2010
Artists from all over the world will attempt to create an accurate representation of the world in 2010. The goal of the exhibition is to create a physical wall of photos that creates an alternate world of our lives in 2010.
On the 9th of July, we will host an exhibition where at least one photo from each artist will be displayed. The walls of the gallery will be completely covered with the photos, creating a massive photographic installation.
How to participate
Participation is easy. All you need is a camera (digital or film). After you sign up to participate, you can start shooting immediately. In the end, you’ll be sending us up to 24 4×6 inch prints of your photos.
The goal
The goal of the project is to create a photographic quilt that connects participants together through what is important to them in the year 2010.
What to shoot
Take photos and document what you think makes up 2010. Think of it on a grand scale, though. We’re not looking for pictures of your family, friends, or pet. Be creative and really dig deep and think about what’s important in the world and in your geographic location.
