The Studio is an opportunity for artists to have an online outlet for connecting with the purchasers, collectors, dealers and critics of photography.
The Studio is an on-line extension of wall space, providing artists an opportunity to have a virtual body of work in connection with a gallery, for sales and promotion, and to be connected to other artists that share their passion and commitment to creating and displaying fine art photography.
A jury of peers will look at each submission, with the potential for guest jurors to view the works, and selections will be made based on the quality, cohesiveness and creativity of the artwork. The artwork must be photography based – while utilizing methods and techniques, either exclusively or in conjunction with other artistic processes.
The studio is wall space’s way of reaching a wider audience, giving artists the benefit of gallery association, with promotion, sales and visibility without the overwhelming financial investment of producing work to be placed in a flat file, or kept in a box.
