Do Changing Places Make Art More or Less Important? Place and art , especially photography , are interdependent, for places are the subject, inspiration, and viewing venues of art. How do our changing places and societys changing relationships to place effect the arts and the arts depiction of places? If places are becoming irrelevant, as some assert, what is the impact of place irrelevancy on art? If place is ever more important , as Dr. Stephen Roulac asserts it is ,what does that mean for our lives and the role of art in our lives?
