From the beginning, photographers have used their craft to address issues they care about and to try and change the world. Issue #41 will explore those intentional, concerned relationships that photographers have with the world around us.

Jason Houston is Picture Editor at Orion magazine, a non-profit, non-commercial print periodical that looks at social and environmental issues through a broad range of cultural lenses. For issue #41 you must submit a project statement along with 12-20 images following the guidelines below. Images must be received by May 15. Issue #41 will have an expected publication date of June 1, 2010.
