Portfolio ShowCase Volume 6
There is no theme for this exhibition. The images will be evaluated as a cohesive body of work, rather than individual images. Fifteen photographers will be chosen to display their twelve-image portfolios in the Center’s Portfolio ShowCase Volume 6 book and online exhibition.

Melissa DeWitt
Melissa DeWitt is owner and editor of Hotshoe International, one of Europe’s leading contemporary photography magazines showcasing the best portfolios across a wide range of photographic genres and keeping international readers informed on the latest and best in the world of contemporary photography. Established over 30 years ago, Hotshoe’s aim is to showcase the best work in a variety of photographic styles and, at the same time, foster a broader un- derstanding of the medium. Portfolios featuring emerging talent are provided a vital platform and sit alongside those of more established artists.

ENTRY FEE:
Members: $65 for the first portfolio (12 images)
Non-Members: $85 for the first portfolio (12 images)
Additional portfolios may be submitted for $85. There is no limit to the number of portfolios that may be submitted.
Applicants signing up for membership at the time they submit will receive the automatic discounted entry fee.
ONLINE EXHIBITION AND AWARDS:
With selection for this exhibition, featured artist’s work will be seen by an international audience of collectors, curators, art consultants, and other advocates of fine art photography. Each participant will be included in the Center’s Online Gallery exhibition as well as published in thePortfolio ShowCase Volume 6 Book. Select artists also will receive a blog feature at the Center’s blog PERSPECTIVES.
Juror’s Selection: The juror will select one portfolio to be the first presented in the book and will select an image from the portfolio to be the book cover.
Solo Exhibition Award: One photographer will be chosen to display their portfolio in the Center’s South Gallery.
Each participating artist will receive a complementary book.
Eligibility: The exhibition is open to all photographers world wide, both amateur and professional. The Center invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate in its exhibitions.
Exhibit Prints: All accepted images submitted for exhibition must be printed and framed or mounted professionally. The Center recognizes that some work is non traditional and incorporates the framing as an integral part of the presentation. Please no colored mats or frames. To encourage participation by photographers from around the world, the Center offers optional economical printing and framing services. Additional details will be provided upon request.
Acceptance Notice: Everyone who submits will receive an email notification of which images were accepted. Accepted images will be posted on the Center’s website along with instructions for the gallery presentation.
